• Career in child care since 1994, Hemel House day home since 2000
  
• Responsive Infant Education (RIE) training
• Learning Language and Loving It
• Ongoing training meetings and seminars

Philosophies:

• I believe that all children are unique individuals who deserve respect, with the right to be able to express their thoughts and feelings without prejudices.
• In my setting I believe that children should be free to explore in a safe caring non-judgmental environment with the use of emergent curriculum and the RIE philosophy that has a consistent yet flexible daily schedule. The activities and environment foster the developmental needs of the whole child.
• My role is to be an observer and a partner who models and helps to teach the child appropriate behavior, in a safe respectful manner. I work in partnership with the parents to meet the goals we all set out for the children.
